There are a number of financing schemes for domestic properties as well as commercial and public buildings including the possibility of support for feasibility studies.

Installing a PV system in your house means that you can generate some of your own electricity from sunlight, a clean and renewable energy source. The most common location for the array is on the roof of the house or garage (or both), whichever gives sufficient area and is roughly south facing. More information on array sizes and system outputs can be found on the FAQ page or you can read more about PV systems and their components on the Introduction to PV Technology page.
There is a choice of module type and integration method, depending on what you want the system to look like. The simplest system for an existing house is to mount standard modules on a special framework that sits on the roof (with a small air gap behind to aid ventilation of the array). However, you can also have modules integrated into the roof or use solar tiles to replace the normal tiles. These options are popular for newly built houses or those where the roof is being replaced.
